Before you book

Cancellation rules vary by destination, hotel, transport provider, season, festival date, permit, activity, and payment stage. The final cancellation terms shared in the confirmed quote or package details will apply if they differ from this general policy.

General cancellation guide

30+ days before travelBest chance of refund after deducting supplier charges, payment gateway charges, non-refundable advances, permits, and service/admin cost.
15-30 days before travelPartial cancellation charges may apply. Refund depends on hotel, vehicle, activity, and permit rules.
7-14 days before travelHigh cancellation charges may apply, especially for hotels, peak season, forest stays, vehicles, and fixed-departure packages.
0-6 days or no-showUsually non-refundable unless a supplier gives written refund approval.

Non-refundable items

  • Permit fees, forest/safari booking, activity booking, guide charges, special entry tickets, and government fees where suppliers mark them non-refundable.
  • Hotel or homestay advances during peak season, festival dates, long weekends, or special events.
  • Payment gateway charges, bank charges, transaction charges, and administrative/service cost.
  • Costs already paid to suppliers for confirmed arrangements.

Date change and rescheduling

Date changes are treated as a request, not a guarantee. We will try to reschedule based on hotel, vehicle, permit, activity, and supplier availability. Fare difference or additional charges may apply. Some bookings may not allow date changes.

Weather, road closure, and force majeure

Travel can be affected by rain, landslide, road closure, strike, political issue, forest closure, government restriction, natural event, medical emergency, or other circumstances beyond control. In such cases, we will try to arrange alternatives, but refund or extra cost depends on supplier rules and actual expenses.

Refund timeline

Approved refunds are normally processed after supplier confirmation and receipt of refundable amount from the supplier. Bank/payment-gateway processing can take additional time. A practical refund timeline is usually 7-15 working days after approval, but it may vary.

Send a cancellation request with booking name, travel date, tour name, contact number, and payment reference to arijithimalaya@gmail.com or call +91 9477128113. Cancellation is counted from the time we receive a clear written request.
